Matt Whiteout

Driving proved too treacherous today, and unfortunately the Iowa City show had to be canceled. We did the best we could, but blizzard conditions caused a whiteout where visibility fell to less than 100 ft. at times. We'll pick up again tomorrow in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Matt White Touring Continues...

Now that the fashion madness has taken it's show to Europe, Lance is back on the road touring Matt White. This kid is completely blowing up, as we predicted in previous posts that he would. With some leverage off of VH1's Top 20 Countdown and a week's worth of MTV coverage (as well as a McDonalds commercial due out soon), he's now starting to sell out rooms. Matt's still doing well at radio around the country, too, which is obviously helping fuel the fire.

They'll be in the Midwest until the end of February before getting some relief down south in March. Clearly, the booking agent at CAA is sitting in her sunny office in L.A. and not giving much thought to the brutal temperatures and record snowfalls being endured. Ah, well at least in cities like Chicago and Milwaukee, one can count on a can or two of Schlitz to warm the blood!
