Now Representing Amber Gipson
Super psyched to be working with Amber. A musician (with a Music Business Management degree) who has come to work with us to see what the worlds of music, fashion and pop culture hold. Obviously, a perfect fit here at the Garage, and we think she's going to be around us for a long while.

Made In The USA?
New York Daily News, June 12th 2008
It would be a pity to see the American model management industry go the way of outsourced manufacturing, like our textile mills. How come nobody makes anything in America anymore? And...how do we know there isn't going to be lead in our models!
15 of the 16 Rockets we have the privilege of launching from the Garage are US Passport holders. The other is an O-1, reserved for talent of "extraordinary ability".
And you thought immigration debate only revolved around a giant fence between Texas and Mexico...

Viva Saint Laurent!
It's always sad to hear of the passing of an icon in our business, and Yves Saint Laurent is no exception. He was such an incredibly significant contributor to 20th century fashion, turning ready-to-wear into a viable business model, putting pants on women in such an elegant and sophisticated manner, splashing a rainbow of colors across what was sometimes a rather staid industry...and always practicing his craft with the precision of a surgeon.
If heaven were a casino, you can bet there's one hell of a game of Texas hold 'em going on right now with some of the greats...Avedon, Ritts, Newton, Izzy Blow, and now Saint Laurent. Where have all the cowboys gone?
